Joanna, our female yellow beardie, was scratching at the corners of her cage this Thursday. Special thanks to Holly for recognizing this as 'digging', a behaviour that usually indicates a gravid female will be ready to lay soon. I guess it's time to buy some vermiculite. On an unrelated note, a very special thank you (as well as a sheepish grin) to Megan Boothe of Spartanburg for pointing out that my autocorrect in Photoshop corrected Owner/Operator to Owner/OperatER. Oops.
